At Laracon EU 2026, Taylor Otwell announced several new updates related to the Laravel framework:

• Laravel 13 will be released on March 17, in just a few weeks.

• The Laravel AI SDK will officially become stable and exit beta on the same date.

One of the funny moments at Laracon happened when Taylor demonstrated an intentionally broken app.

The app triggered an alert, which prompted OpenCode to generate a pull request to fix the issue automatically. After that, OpenClaw called Taylor on stage by phone and asked whether he wanted to merge or close the PR.
